Embracing the entrepreneurial spirit from an early age (just ask about her grade school candy sales!), Amy J. Adams founded AJA Marketing with integrity and accountability as the cornerstones of its foundation.
An accomplished professional, Amy has worked with non-profit associations, businesses, law firms, and executives across the Northeast region. In 2014, Amy launched AJA Marketing to serve the marketing, business strategy and association management needs of her clients through personalized, comprehensive services.
Skilled in both personnel and project management, Amy has a talent for open communication and collaboration, orchestrating everything from complex campaigns to sensitive consulting assignments with transparency and professionalism.
Amy knows that marketing can be painless, simple, and effective. After working with various entrepreneurs and small business owners, she recognized the need to further support these clients. In 2023, Amy launched AlwaysWorking.com, a service of AJA Marketing specifically designed for entrepreneurs and small business owners.
The Always Working approach provides small business owners with a strong foundation and empowers them with a 5-phase process to build and execute a marketing strategy to support, sustain, and grow their business with achievable results.
Amy has helped organize over 500 networking and marketing events (often locking in sponsorships and co-partner opportunities) both virtually and in-person. She has executed successful client events across the tri-state area at legendary venues such as The Rainbow Room, Museum of the City of New York, Gotham Hall, Paley Center for Media, and Tao.
To reach more clients and make valuable connections, Amy also encourages clients to take full advantage of today’s top networking and management tools for entrepreneurs and businesses, including the use of ethical AI, and LinkedIn. Amy specializes in LinkedIn best practices, writing numerous blog posts and articles on how to maximize this powerful platform and offers LinkedIn coaching as one of her many services.
Amy is certified through Hootsuite’s Social Marketing and is a renowned voice in marketing, contributing to Forbes and Huffpost.
An advocate of life-long learning, Amy obtained her CAE (Certified Association Executive) certification in 2023 to better serve her association clients. She believes in the power of associations and community and is thrilled to be an engaged member of the Ellevate Network and The Center for Association Leadership – ASAE.
Amy is passionate about service and giving back to her community as an active volunteer and advocate for numerous social and philanthropic organizations. A proud Douglass College alumna, she is a past member of the Board of Directors for the Associate Alumnae of Douglass College and a former volunteer Girl Scout leader. She loves to participate in the Special Olympics NJ Annual Polar Bear Plunge and looks forward to “Freezing for a Reason” for many years to come. When she’s not busy running the business, you’ll find her spending time with family, diving into her yoga practice, or reading a good book.
