From grade school candy sales to leading a successful marketing agency, Amy J. Adams has always embraced the entrepreneurial spirit. In 2014, she founded AJA Marketing, building a business rooted in integrity, accountability, and results-driven strategies.

An accomplished professional, Amy has worked with non-profit associations, small businesses, law firms, financial professionals, and executives across the Northeast. Through AJA Marketing, she offers comprehensive services in marketing, business development, and association management, tailored to the unique needs of each client.

Leadership & Expertise
With a talent for communication, collaboration, and project management, Amy navigates complex campaigns and consulting assignments with transparency and professionalism. Her approach ensures that clients feel supported every step of the way.

Recognizing the challenges faced by entrepreneurs and small business owners, Amy expanded her services in 2023 by launching AlwaysWorking.com – a signature program of AJA Marketing. This innovative service empowers small business owners with a 5-phrase process to build, execute, and sustain marketing strategies that deliver measurable results.

Amy has organized over 500 in-person and virtual events, at legendary venues such as The Rainbow Room, Museum of the City of New York, Gotham Hall, and the New York City Public Library. She has a proven track record of creating and securing sponsorships, advertising, and partnership opportunities for nonprofit clients. With expertise in event marketing and sponsorship development, Amy helps clients elevate their brand visibility and build meaningful connections.

An advocate for leveraging technology, Amy specializes in LinkedIn coaching and the responsible use of AI (artificial intelligence), guiding clients to maximize networking and management tools.  Certified in social marketing through Hootsuite and featured in Forbes and Huffpost, Amy is a trusted voice in modern marketing.

Passion for Service & Community
A believer in the power of associations and community, Amy earned her CAE (Certified Association Executive) certification in 2023 to better serve her association clients and is an engaged member of the Ellevate Network and The Center for Association Leadership – ASAE.

A proud Douglass College alumna, she is a past member of the Board of Directors for the Associate Alumnae of Douglass College and a former volunteer Girl Scout leader. She loves to participate in the Special Olympics NJ Annual Polar Bear Plunge and looks forward to “Freezing for a Reason” for many years to come.

When she’s not crafting marketing strategies or leading events, you’ll find her spending time with family, hitting the beach (when it’s warm – we are based in NJ!), playing with her two spunky cats, or diving into a good book.
