Amy J. Adams, Owner of AJA Marketing

Embracing the entrepreneurial spirit from an early age (just ask about her grade school candy sales!), Amy J. Adams founded AJA Marketing with integrity and accountability as the cornerstones of its foundation.

A former paralegal and marketing executive at a prominent regional law firm, Amy J. Adams has worked with several non-profit associations, businesses, law firms, and executives across the Northeast region. In 2014, Amy launched AJA Marketing to serve the marketing, business strategy and association management needs of her clients through personalized, comprehensive services. Skilled in both personnel and project management, Amy has a talent for open communication and collaboration, orchestrating everything from complex campaigns to sensitive consulting assignments with transparency and professionalism.

Amy has helped organize over 350 networking and marketing events (often locking in sponsorships and co-partner opportunities) both virtually and in-person. She has executed successful client events across the tri-state area at legendary venues such as The Rainbow Room, Museum of the City of New York, Gotham Hall and Tao. To reach more clients and make valuable connections, Amy also encourages clients to take full advantage of today’s top networking and management tools for entrepreneurs and businesses, especially LinkedIn. Amy specializes in LinkedIn best practices, writing numerous blog posts and articles on how to maximize this powerful platform and is pleased to offer a LinkedIn Coaching Service. Amy is certified through HubSpot Academy’s Inbound Marketing, as well as Hootsuite’s Social Marketing. She is also a renowned voice in legal marketing, contributing to Forbes and Huffpost.

Amy believes in life-long learning and the power of associations and community. She is thrilled to be an engaged member of the Ellevate Network, The Center for Association Leadership – ASAE, and the Legal Marketing Association. Amy is passionate about service and giving back to her community as an active volunteer and advocate for numerous social and philanthropic organizations. A proud Douglass College alumna, she is a past member of the Board of Directors for the Associate Alumnae of Douglass College. She is a volunteer Girl Scout leader and also loves to participate in the Special Olympics NJ Annual Polar Bear Plunge and looks forward to “Freezing for a Reason” for many years to come.

When she’s not busy with all this “consulting stuff”, you’ll find her spending time with family, diving into her yoga practice, or reading a good book.
