On February 25, 2017, the NJ shore was blessed with the gift of gorgeous (albeit strange for February) weather. Better yet, it was the day of the Special Olympics New Jersey Polar Bear Plunge at Seaside Heights. You could not have asked for a better day – the sun was shining in the seventies, and the tens of thousands of people in attendance were in great spirits.
Having been in both the volunteer role and through our work with volunteer leaders on nonprofits, AJA Marketing knows the importance of giving back. We are inspired by dedicated, committed 
leaders who strive to give more, to build greater associations, networks and organizations. The Special Olympics of New Jersey did a fantastic job as usual, and we couldn’t be more proud of the 7,000 plungers who braved the Atlantic (a brisk 40 degrees or so!)
We’re still in the first quarter of the New Year – consider donating your time or money to a good cause if you aren’t already. Find something you are passionate about and commit yourself to moving the needle in a way that’s meaningful for you. And don’t forget to have fun doing it.
